SD is standard duty (mineral oil, general lab/industrial). C1 is light chemical duty (improved seals, mild solvents). C2 is heavy chemical duty (PFPE/Fomblin oil, FFKM seals, aggressive process gas). I is the instrument/analytical variant, optimised for low ultimate pressure and clean operation. Service kits, oils, and seals differ between variants — always quote the full model and configuration code from the nameplate.

Yes — it's one of our continuous stock items. The elastomeric drive coupling between motor and pump on Pascal 2033 (and many 2021 SD C1/C2) deteriorates over time and is one of the most-replaced single parts on these pumps. Easy to fit; usually fixes a noisy or vibrating pump in 15 minutes.

Many Adixen models were continued under Pfeiffer with the same internals — for example, Adixen ACP 15/28/40 became the Pfeiffer A100 / A200 lineage, with broadly common service kits. Pascal C2 pumps run on PFPE/Fomblin oil (typically Alcatel F4 or F5) for compatibility with aggressive process gases. Mineral oil (Alcatel 100 / 120) must NOT be used in C2 pumps — it will react with the FFKM seals and process residues. We stock both mineral and PFPE oils; quote the pump variant when ordering.
