Complete range of spare parts for Busch vacuum pumps. R5 RA, Mink claw, Cobra dry screw, Dolphin liquid ring, Fossa scroll, Tyr blowers — comprehensive UK stock for food packaging, woodworking, semiconductor, and chemical applications.
World's Largest Vacuum Manufacturer — Family-Owned
Busch was founded in Schopfheim, Germany in 1963 by Dr.-Ing. Karl Busch and Ayhan Busch, and remains family-owned (now in the second generation under Ayla, Sami, and Kaya Busch). In 2024, Busch Vacuum Solutions, Pfeiffer Vacuum, and centrotherm clean solutions combined to form the Busch Group — making it one of the largest vacuum technology suppliers globally with around 8,000 employees. The Busch R5 oil-lubricated rotary vane is the de-facto industry-standard packaging pump, with over three million units in service worldwide.
Vac Pump Spares stocks genuine and OEM-equivalent spares for the complete Busch range. Whether you need a vane kit for an R5 RA in a Multivac thermoformer, a tip seal kit for a Cobra NC, an oil-mist filter element for a SOGEVAC central system, or service parts for a Mink claw on a CNC, we hold the parts in UK stock and the technical knowledge to ensure correct identification.

Common Questions About Busch Parts
Everything you need to know about sourcing Busch vacuum pump spare parts from one of the UK's most comprehensive independent stockholders.
Speak to an ExpertWe stock an extensive range of part numbers across the complete Busch range — R5 (RA, RC, RD), Mink, Cobra, Dolphin, Fossa, Seco, Samos, and Tyr/Panda/Puma. This covers service kits, carbon vanes, oil-mist filters, exhaust filters, shaft seals, O-rings, gas ballast valves, oils, and tip seal kits.
Yes — we stock the full range of R5 service kits from RA 0010 F up to RA 1600 D. Both minor service kits (vanes, oil filter, exhaust mist filter, seals) and major overhaul kits (additionally bearings and shaft seals) are available from stock. We also supply individual components if you only need a single part.
RA pumps are the standard industrial duty version; RC pumps are corrosion-resistant variants with upgraded materials and PFPE-compatible internals for chemical-process duty; RD pumps are the equivalent two-stage configuration. Our team can confirm the right service kit for your exact pump variant from your nameplate.
Yes. We stock NSF H1 / ISO 21469 registered food-grade vacuum pump oil compatible with all Busch rotary vane pumps used in food and beverage applications. We also supply standard Busch VM 100, R 530, R 580, R 590 mineral oils, and R 570 for high-temperature duty.
Oil and oil filter every 500–2,000 hours depending on duty (more frequent for moisture-laden food packaging, less frequent for clean industrial vacuum). Exhaust mist filter element typically every 2,000 hours. Vane inspection at 8,000 hours, full vane replacement around 16,000 hours. We can supply a 500h, 2,000h, or 16,000h kit to match your service schedule.
It indicates the carbon vane has carbonised in the rotor slot due to oil degradation or thermal cycling — a common symptom of overdue oil changes. Per Busch's manual, the vane should be inspected and the slot measured: if the slot is V-shaped or the gap is >0.3 mm, the rotor itself must be replaced. Catching it early — at first sign of reduced pumping speed — usually means a vane kit is sufficient.
Yes. We stock tip seal kits, shaft seals, bearings, and overhaul kits for Cobra NC 0100 B through NC 2500 B, plus the AC chemical-duty variants. Cobra service is more specialist than R5 — please contact our team with your serial number for accurate part identification.
Yes. The vacuum pumps fitted to Multivac and Sealpac thermoformers and chamber machines are typically Busch R5 RA models; we routinely supply service kits for these OEM-installed pumps. We can also help you cross-reference between the OEM-machine part book and Busch's current part numbers.
All in-stock Busch parts are available on a next-day UK mainland basis. For production-down situations, call us and we can arrange same-day courier delivery where required. Popular R5 vane kits and oil filters are held as continuous stock items.
