Send your pump to our Sutton Coldfield workshop for a full bench service — strip-down, clean, inspect, replace wear parts, performance test, and return. Typical 5–10 working day turnaround. Suitable for pumps that can be released from production or held in stock as a spare.
Off-site vacuum pump service is a full bench-strip service performed at our Sutton Coldfield workshop, where the pump is dismantled, cleaned, inspected, repaired with new wear parts, performance-tested, and returned to the customer with a documented service report.
5–10 working days typical, depending on parts availability and scope.

What you get with off-site service
Full strip-down
Pump dismantled to component level so every internal surface can be inspected and cleaned. Old gaskets, seals, vanes, and filters discarded.
Ultrasonic / solvent clean
Cylinder, end covers, and rotor cleaned to remove old oil, carbonised residue, and process contamination. Returns the pump to bare-metal cleanliness.
Component inspection
Cylinder bore, rotor slots, and bearings measured against manufacturer service limits. Any out-of-spec components flagged for replacement and quoted.
New wear parts fitted
Vanes, shaft seals, O-rings, gaskets, anti-suckback valve, oil filter, and exhaust mist filter renewed as standard. Bearings on major service interval.
Performance test on the bench
Ultimate vacuum and pumping speed measured against manufacturer specification. Service is only signed off when performance is back to spec.
Service report and return
Written report listing all parts replaced, measured pumping speed, ultimate vacuum, recommended next service interval, and any observations. Pump returned by tracked courier.
From booking to handover

1. Booking and shipping
Tell us the pump model and serial number; we confirm a workshop slot and provide shipping instructions. Carriage to our workshop is the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

2. Arrival inspection
Pump booked in, photographed, and given an inspection-only assessment if a full quote is needed before work commences.

3. Strip-down and clean
Pump dismantled and cleaned to bench-condition for inspection.

4. Quote (if scope changes)
If inspection finds out-of-spec components beyond the original scope, we quote the additional work and wait for approval before proceeding.

5. Rebuild and test
Rebuild with new wear parts; performance-tested on the bench until at-spec.

6. Return
Pump returned by tracked courier with the service report. Carriage charged at cost.
