Service Exchange Programme
Swap your tired pump for a refurbished, bench-tested, warrantied unit from our exchange stock. Fast swap-out for the most-common rotary vane models, with the worn pump returned to our workshop for refurbishment back into the exchange fleet.
Service exchange is a programme where the customer's worn pump is swapped for a fully refurbished, performance-tested, warrantied unit from our exchange stock — eliminating the wait for a workshop rebuild and minimising production downtime.
Fast dispatch on common models; specialist pumps subject to fleet availability.
- •Workshop refurbishment to manufacturer spec
- •Bench performance test before each exchange
- •Documented warranty per unit
What you get with service exchange
Refurbished exchange unit
A pump from our refurbished-exchange fleet, rebuilt to manufacturer-spec, performance-tested on the bench, and supplied with a documented warranty.
Fast swap-out
Common rotary vane exchange units ship next working day. Same-day courier available for production-down.
Documented test certificate
Each exchange unit ships with a measured pumping-speed and ultimate-vacuum certificate.
Worn pump returned to workshop
Your worn pump is collected (or you return it) and refurbished back into our exchange fleet. The exchange price reflects this — significantly cheaper than a like-for-like new pump.
Full warranty
Same warranty as a workshop-refurbished pump.

When you'd typically need service exchange
Common scenarios where customers ask for this service. If your situation isn't listed but sounds related, get in touch — we can advise.
- Production-down situation where you need a pump back online today, not in a fortnight
- Routine major rebuild interval reached and you don't want a 5–10 day workshop turnaround
- Multi-pump central system where rotating pumps through exchange is more efficient than individual rebuilds
- Pump is decades-old and a refurbished newer unit is a better outcome than another rebuild
Equipment we work on
- Edwards E2M, RV — most common UK exchange stock
- Busch R5 RA — common across packaging plants
- Leybold TRIVAC, SOGEVAC — common across labs and industry
- Other models on request, subject to fleet availability
