Using our state-of-the-art vacuum calibration station, we calibrate gauges from every major manufacturer — Edwards, Leybold, Pfeiffer, Agilent, MKS, Inficon, and more — with a documented certificate per gauge.

What is vacuum calibration?

Vacuum calibration is the comparison of a customer's vacuum gauge or vacuum-measuring instrument against a certified reference standard, with a calibration certificate issued documenting the gauge's accuracy at one or more reference pressures across its measurement range.

On-site visits 5–10 working days from booking; off-site calibration typically 5 working days from receipt at our workshop.

What you get with vacuum calibration

Multi-point pressure calibration

Gauges calibrated at multiple reference points across their measurement range — typically 5 to 10 points spanning atmosphere down to ultimate vacuum, depending on gauge type.

Calibration against certified standards

Our calibration station references certified standard gauges with traceability through the UK national measurement system.

On-site calibration available

For gauges that can't easily be removed (or where downtime to remove them is expensive), our engineers can travel to your site with portable calibration equipment.

Off-site calibration at our workshop

For benchtop calibration of multiple gauges or where gauge accuracy demands a stable environment, customers ship gauges to our Sutton Coldfield workshop.

Calibration certificate per gauge

Documented certificate showing reference pressures, gauge readings, deviations, environmental conditions during the test, and the next-calibration-due date.

Repair and adjustment if out of spec

Where a gauge is found to be out of spec, we offer adjustment, repair, or replacement.

From booking to handover

    Tell us the gauges (make, model, serial number), measurement range, and whether you need on-site or off-site calibration.

    2. Pre-calibration check

    Each gauge inspected and zeroed before calibration, environmental conditions logged.

    3. Multi-point calibration

    Gauge connected to our calibration station and read against the reference at each calibration point.

    4. Certificate issued

    Calibration certificate produced per gauge, including all reference pressures, deviations, and the next-calibration-due date.

  5. 5

    5. Return (off-site) or sign-off (on-site)

    Off-site: gauges returned with their certificates. On-site: certificate handed over and gauge re-installed.
